Mony B.P. Yin is a member of Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg LLC and is admitted to practice in both the state and federal courts of Connecticut and New York and is also licensed to practice in state courts of Massachusetts. Mony concentrates her practice in the areas of premises liability, products liability, aviation related litigation, construction law and New York labor law. She represents commercial entities, restaurants, retailers and professionals in complex, high exposure litigation, including construction defects, medical malpractice (podiatrists, nurse practitioners and general family practice), and involving serious injuries such as RSD, Traumatic Brain Injury, cervical & lumbar fusions & disc replacements, as well as total knee replacements. She has successfully epresented clients in all phases of litigation through jury and courtside trials, arbitrations, mediations, dispositive motion practice, in both state and federal courts.
Shortly before graduating from Tufts University, Mony served as an intern for the United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, Austria where she studied non-military use of nuclear energy. After Tufts, Mony began her legal studies at the University of Connecticut. She served as the Executive Editor of The Connecticut Journal of International Law and the Magister of the Ellsworth Inn of Phi Delta Phi, the international legal fraternity. She was also a Fellow of Counsel on Legal Education Opportunities, earning a scholarship for her studies at the University of Connecticut School of Law. Upon graduating from law school, Mony worked for private law firms and two major insurance companies in Connecticut. Mony is an AV Pre-eminent Peer Review Rated attorney, a distinction given to attorneys with the highest level of ethical standards and legal skills. She is a member of the DRI Construction Law/Insurance Relations Subcommittee and National Retail Restaurants Defense Association (Annual Conference and Member Outreach Committees).
